Breast augmentation
The breast is a sign of femininity and an undeniable sexual trait. It is an organ much valued by the woman, who cares so much about its external appearance, as for its ability to nurse.
- Breast or mammoplasty augmentation consists in placing silicone prostheses.
- They can be placed at submammary level (subfascial), or at submuscular level, depending on the thickness of the tissues of the patient.
- The prostheses can be round or anatomical.
- The most used access way is the periareolar way, but in some cases it is possible to choose betwen the submammary or axilar way.
